The Winger Food Pantry is open Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Clients are invited into the building to pick up food and look over clothes.
Our mission is to serve individuals and families who experience food insecurity in University City and surrounding neighborhoods. By offering food, gently used clothing, hope and friendship, we will strengthen these individuals and the communities in which they live.
The Winger Food Pantry is open at Trinity Presbyterian Church from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Clients that have been vaccinated or are symptom free and had no contact with a person with COVID-19 for 14 days can enter the building. You will be able to select perishable items and clothes and receive the bags of non-perishable items. Food Pantry volunteers will then help carry your items out to your car.
Masks are to be worn inside the building. Please bring your state ID for check in. We only allow one recipient per family or per address. Clients do not need a referral. All are welcome but clients may only get food once a calendar month. You must be 18 or older to get food. The pantry is closed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and snow days when the University School District is closed.
