Memorial Service

Dolores Jo Kirk – Mom, Gram, Do-Do, Aunt Do, Do – Passed away on January 22, 2022 with her daughters, Kim, Kitty, Jan, and Pam and her grandson, Tim, by her side. At nearly 91 years old, Do lived a very full life. She was greatly loved by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Becca, AJ, Ben, Shannon, Megan, Katie, Tim, Molly, and Sami, and great-grandchildren Dylan, Hailey, Ozzie, and Lila.

Mom was a do-er, a peace-maker, a lover of children and nature and fun. A person of strong faith, a believer in action, a teacher. She challenged us to explore and express ideas in new ways and act upon our beliefs. She taught us to be inclusive and to care for each other, especially the least of these. She believed and taught that peace is an action.

An amazing soul, she loved to play. Anything and everything could be a wonderful game, and often became tradition. She taught us to be fair and safe and loving. She instilled strength, drive, and the knowledge that we could do anything. Mom demonstrated the power of service and empathy and made us who we are. Mom was loved by so many and absolutely adored by her grandchildren. We love you Mom and will miss you until we meet again. Please give Poppy three kisses for us. xxx
