Requested Items for our Pinwheels Drive

Who is Pinwheels? And what do they do?
Trinity’s Worship Committee is proud to support Pinwheels for the mission component of Rally Day!
Pinwheels was started in 2017 by Trinity member, Liz Nelson and former Minister of Music, Vicki Carmichael. For the past 5 years, 5 to 18 year olds have been gathering every month to socialize while their parents talk and support each other.  What’s notable about this?  The youth are transgender or non-binary kids who need a place to hang out with other kids who understand and respect their names, clothing, pronouns or other gender expression without question. Trinity has supported the program periodically over these years with funds and space. A number of Trinity members volunteer with the group, as well.
As we prepare for Rally Day, we have the opportunity to once again help Pinwheels, this time with their supply wishlist. They have grown from 4 families to over 120 families!! So help with craft supplies, as well as a large feather flag to help families locate the Pinwheels gathering locations, would be greatly appreciated.
A donation of supplies, or funds for the flag are welcome!
Donation locations are at the Kingsland and main entrances to the church. Just look for the Pinwheels!
