Update to COVID Guidelines

Last night during our monthly session meeting, we had a discussion regarding masks in the building. After a long conversation, the session unanimously passed a motion to make masks optional during worship, as well as meetings and special events, until further notice.

This decision was made knowing that there is a wide spectrum of how people are feeling right now given our collective experiences over the past two years, and the current state of the pandemic. For some, there may be a feeling of relief to have the option to not wear a mask, while for others, they may not quite be ready, or feel safe enough to go mask-less.

We want to be clear – all are encouraged to make the decision that is best for you and your health – continuing to wear a mask in worship and in the building will be welcome at Trinity.

This step was taken recognizing that while masks are becoming optional now, we will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and take steps to reinstate masks if needed.

For those who feel safest at home, please know that our online presence is here to stay – we will continue to offer virtual worship on Sunday mornings.

As we navigate these challenging times, we will pay close attention to the medical community and do our best to care for each other as the body of Christ.

Grace and peace,
The Members of Session
