Trinity Adult Education Series

June 21, 2020 to July 26, 2020

Music, like literature, is more than just the notes–it also is the ends to which it is used. This is one of the critical points in the book The Rest Is Noise by Alex Ross, according to Trinity Director of Music Christian Hendricks, and the kind of thing the six-session adult education program will grapple with.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on June 21, Christian will host from his home computer and piano a six-week Sunday evening adult education discussion. The readings are available through Bookshop.org and other online platforms and book stores. You’re invited to join others beginning June 21 as we read the history and listen to the works of the most changeful of centuries. The six discussions will be organized as follows:

Part I: 1900-1933: Chapters 1 through 6
