Janelle Pierce

Interim Director of Music

Janelle Pierce has been at Trinity Presbyterian Church for the past five years working as the Alto Section Leader in the church choir and singing as a soloist for services.
She is a classically trained singer who earned her Bachelor of Art’s Degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. As a performer, mezzo-soprano Janelle Pierce has been seen on stage with companies such as Winter Opera St. Louis, The St. Louis Chamber Chorus and the St. Louis Women’s Chorale. Pierce has developed a love for the theater by her involvement with the St. Louis Fringe Festival, the Westport Plaza Playhouse and the St. Louis Public Library Storytime Theater Program.
Though Janelle Pierce grew up Catholic, she has led worship in multiple styles at a variety of different church denominations in Missouri, Texas and even parts of Mexico.
When Pierce is not fulfilling her responsibilities as the Interim Music Director or performing on the stage, she can be found playing around town on her bass with local bands or playing her ukulele and guitar for private events.
