Welcome, to our newest members: Tyler Nutter, Kari Peglar, and Maggie Schoeberlein!

Read Dan's confirmation sermon: Out On The Wilderness Road.

The following were written by the 8th grade confirmands and the 7th grade members of the confirmation class:

definition of prayer

Prayer... an earnest or humble request... conversation with God... a time of reflection... a time for hope... a time of healing... a selfless wish... a way to let out your feelings... a time of honesty and cleansing, a request for help... a time for thinking... like a security blanket... a practice of your faith... something you can always count on... unconditional love... acceptance... protection... peace... forgiveness... asking for goodness... grace... friendship... truth... wisdom... guidance... safety... embraced... a common ground... holy ground...

affirmation of faith

We believe in God...Creator...ever present and all powerful...providing choices...who loves unconditionally...

We believe in Jesus... our Savior...courageous guide and teacher...who loves unconditionally...

We believe in the Holy Spirit...surrounding us...filling us...showing us the way through a quiet whisper...giving security and loving unconditionally...

We believe in prayer...an earnest and humble request...a time of healing...a circle of giving and receiving...a practice of our faith...a time of hope...acceptance and unconditional love...

We believe in Trinity Church...welcoming...peaceful...a home for everyone...a family...a place of security and growth...where everyone is loved unconditionally...

We believe our faith is strong...daring to challenge...enthusiastic...always growing and questioning...a voyage of discovery and exploration...

Our faith is God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and Trinity where we are loved unconditionally.

Lord's Prayer interpretation

Our Guardian, who surrounds us, how great and powerful is your name, let all the people know you are among us, let us follow your path of faith, everyday and everywhere. Fill us this day with your wonderful gifts; let us learn from our wrong doings, and help us to accept injustice done to us; help us to resist sin and drifting from your path, let us remember your way and not take revenge on others. Your home is everywhere, and your strength, and adoring praise is forever. So be it!
